Yodel digital transformation introduces super-fast smartphone scanning app
Delivery company Yodel, is phasing out existing parcel delivery scanners, replacing them with a mobile app for delivery drivers to use their own smartphones or company-provided devices and confirm proof of delivery in real-time with a quick barcode scan. The couriers love it and productivity is up.

Hermes UK lowers last mile costs and moves closer to BYOD model
Scandit’s robust and reliable scanning on mobile devices transformed the last mile delivery and verification process for 4,000 UK Hermes couriers. The plan to replace dedicated devices for 15,000 couriers with the lower-cost Scandit smartphone solution is integral to providing a flexible platform to manage consumer demand and moving closer to a cost-saving BYOD strategy.

DPD Russia eliminates high costs with full BYOD approach
As well as switching from open source scanning software to the higher speed and quality of Scandit software, DPD Russia adopted a full BYOD strategy for couriers. This eliminated the high overhead and maintenance costs of their legacy hand-held devices.
